L'AW-HE2 est une petite caméra HD intégrée et très flexible qui s'adapte à de nombreuses applications. Elle peut être utilisée par exemple pour des visioconférences, des observations animales ou encore des diagnostics médicaux à distance. L'AW-HE2 est un nouveau concept de caméras intégrées : « Abordable + IP + Full HD ». L'AW-HE2 est équipée de la technologie "Professional Image Creation" de Panasonic, d'un capteur MOS Full HD, d'un zoom iA haute résolution et de la prise en charge multi–format (1080 p). Elle est équipée de fonctionnalités professionnelles telles que les voyants Tally, les préréglages, un microphone stéréo ou le « Self P in P », assurant un fonctionnement simple dans un format ultracompact. La principale fonctionnalité réside dans sa capacité réseau IP. La configuration aisée, l'évolutivité du système permettant de commander jusqu'à 100 caméras et le contrôle IP sont les atouts de cette caméra.
